Does my car need paint correction before ceramic coating?
It depends on the current condition of your paint – and we’ll tell you honestly after a free evaluation. Here’s why it matters: ceramic coating creates a semi-permanent bond with whatever surface it’s applied to. If that surface has swirl marks, light scratches, or oxidation, the coating will lock those imperfections in permanently, amplifying them rather than hiding them. If your paint is in good condition (typically vehicles under 2 years old or those that have been properly maintained), you may be able to skip full correction and move straight to coating. For vehicles showing visible swirls, haze, or oxidation, we strongly recommend correction first. We perform all paint correction in-house – same shop, same team – so there’s no handoff or coordination required.
