Mobile Information and Text Messaging (SMS)
Extreme Autoworks (“Extreme Autoworks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers an optional text messaging program. This section explains how we handle mobile information connected to that program. If anything elsewhere in this Privacy Policy conflicts with this section, this section controls for mobile information and text messaging opt-in data.
Information we collect. When you opt in to receive text messages from us, we collect your mobile phone number and, if you provide it, your name. We also keep a record of your consent, including the date and time, how you opted in, and the consent language shown to you. We keep records of the text messages we send and receive and of any HELP or opt-out requests.
How we use it. We use this information only to operate our text messaging program: to send appointment reminders, follow up on inquiries you submit, and send updates about your client projects and account; to respond to your replies; to honor opt-out requests; and to keep records of your consent.
No sharing or selling of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for the SMS platform provider and wireless carriers that we use solely to deliver our messages to you. All categories of information sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your choices. You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected]. Full program terms are in the “SMS / Text Messaging Terms” section of our Terms of Service.
